PAYMENT METHODS
All orders must be pre-paid in U.S. funds. We do not ship C.O.D. Payments may
be made with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, money order, or
a personal check written on a U.S. bank. Please note: your credit card statement
will show the payment is to Hoffmann Publications, Inc.
PRICES ON OLD FORMS
We reserve the right to charge the current price for items on your order. If
you are using a hard copy order form, the prices may not be current. We have
published monthly for over thirteen years with an order form in each issue,
so please check the date of the order form for accuracy. You can check the current prices on our printable
order form (.pdf format).
ORDER CHANGES
Once your order has been submitted online, you may make a change by submitting
an email alerting us to the change within 24 hours of submission.
SHIPPING & HANDLING Charges are based on the weight of your order. Downloadable items & subscriptions are not subject to shipping charges.
To figure shipping & handling for the items before entering payment info, just proceed into the secure checkout area to enter the address for shipment. You will notice that UPS Ground is the default option in a drop down box. Choose an option. Scroll down to click "Submit". The shipping amount will appear in the calculation with the total. To see a recalculated shipping option, just go back to the previous page and choose a different shipping method from the drop down box, then click submit again.
International Orders: If your order is to be shipped outside the United States,
we will send it by Airmail and insured when we deem it to be necessary. Delivery
times are not guaranteed and are regularly subject to unexpected delays in
some foreign countries. Customers with orders shipped internationally are
responsible for all duties and taxes.
DELIVERY TIME
Our turnaround time in-house can be as much as 5 days, but may be faster
depending on what is ordered. Mail transit time depends on the service selected,
holidays, and weekends figured into the delivery time. If you have an order
to be sent through UPS, you can request your tracking number to check on the delivery time.
Christmas Orders must be submitted by December 15th for delivery by UPS, Priority Mail and Express services. You must choose the right shipping option in the drop down box when checking out to expedite your order.
BACK ORDERS
We do our best to keep all of our items in stock for reasonable turnaround
time on your order, however, back orders do occur. Your back-ordered items
will be shipped out as soon as they are restocked, with no additional shipping
charges.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Printed materials and video tapes are not accepted for return, exchange, or
refund. Subscriptions may not be refunded but may be transferred to another
person or different mailing address. All other items are subject to express
verbal permission for return or exchange with reasonable consideration, within
30 days, and in resalable condition. Return and/or exchange shipping will
be paid by the purchaser. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
RETURN CHECKS are subject to a $15 fee.
OVERPAYMENTS & CREDITS
If you have an overpayment or credit on your account, we will carry the balance
until your next purchase is made and apply it accordingly. Evidence of overpayment
credit is always shown on the invoice from which it was generated unless
it is from an overpayment on a subscription.
