Cane bolts are used to secure a gate or door in the open position. This version is made to be screwed to the bottom corner of a wooden door. A hook is positioned to hold the bolt up above the bottom of the door for normal use. It is dropped into a hole, stop or floor plate to hold the door in the open position (the bolts in the photo are longer than needed and will be cut to the correct length during installation). The plate features fluted patterns made with a set side set, and barrel hinge bolt guides.
