Most forged cooking tools are the large Bar-B-Q or hearth variety, but these are smaller and intended for stove top use in the kitchen. The handle and stem are made entirely out if round stock that is bundled, forge welded and drawn out. The spoon and spatula are made from 20 ga. sheet and the fork tines are forged 1/8 thick stock. This is a good project for sharpening ones forge welding skills
