Most forged cooking tools are the large Bar-B-Q or hearth variety, but these are smaller and intended for stove top use in the kitchen. The handle and stem are made entirely out if ¼” round stock that is bundled, forge welded and drawn out. The spoon and spatula are made from 20 ga. sheet and the fork tines are forged 1/8” thick stock. This is a good project for sharpening ones forge welding skills
