There are a lot of benders to be found for bending stock cold, but not so many for bending it hot. This universal bender is designed for wrapping hot material around a form. it consists of a flat bar with drilled and tapped holes every inch, an adjustable dog, anvil hardy stem (or vise plate) and a variety of forms.

This tool will crack any tough nut with ease. The bottom is tapped to accept a handle, or clamp (for securing to the edge of a table or counter). The “swage” portion of the tool is made out of 5/8” square and 3/16”x 1” flat. The handle is made of maple; a file handle can be substituted for the handmade one shown.
