Forge these pliers out of 5/8” square tool steel, working both
halves at the same time. W1 or O1 steels are recommended because they are
easy to work, and heat treat in the average shop —and kitchen (you
may need to use your oven to temper the entire tool). Plans and step by
step illustrations show you how to make them.

| These cabinet hinges are unique because the barrels are folded over and
drilled instead of rolled. The mounting screws keep them from opening up
once in place. The fold makes possible many two layer designs, four of
which are shown in the April Issue. |

Split & bend corners are made by first making some sort of cut in
the bar, then bending hot to make a decorative corner. Eight examples of
